Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Commissioners for the following: Solid Waste Collection & Disposal Services Within the Township of Long Beach Non-Automated -- OR -- Collection & Disposal of Recycling Materials Within the Township of Long Beach SemiAutomated/Automated. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127; P.L. 1977, c.33; and P.L. 1999, c.238 "The Public Works Registration Act" if applicable. The Minimum Wage rates, if applicable, for labor employed on these contracts shall be as specified in the "The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Rate Determination", of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1, et seq. Pursuant to N.J.S.A.40:11- 23c.3, notice of revisions or addenda to advertisements or bid documents shall be provided by publishing same in at least one official newspaper of the Township of general circulation published in the State no later than five (5) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of bids; and also on the municipal website under "Government" / "Bid Notices". The Township of Long Beach reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2. Any contract award will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and the Board of Commissioners shall make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township. Any delay caused by the US Postal or Private Delivery Service shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder.
