The scope of this project includes costing for Refurbishment (short and long term), replacement costs for a mechanical plant that meets WSER either on the existing site or another suitable site as selected by your firm, and replacement costs for other technologies including a land based WWTP on an adjacent land area selected by your firm. Other site locations will involve sewage lift stations, force mains and other associated municipal infrastructure so in your final reports please provide in depth costing for all options and site areas that may work for a feasibility analysis so that the town can make an informed decision on whether it is cost effective to refurbish the existing plant, replace the existing plant on the existing site or abandon the existing plant ( and demolish if an alternate site is selected) and construct a new WWTP plant.
