**As of October 05, 2023, project was awarded to Kelvin Epps Painting Company but awarded amount is not available.** The Bibb County School District (the District) is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from Painting firms (proposers) to provide painting services outlined in the Scope of Services section of this request. This RFP includes painting services for the renovation of Suite 500, Central Office. The Bibb County School District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide the services within the specifications. The District intends to perform renovations to Suite 500, Central Office. This facility is located at 484 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Scope of Services: The District is requesting Painting to include: Patch and finish holes and cracks in drywall as needed. Apply primer as needed. Apply 2 coats of Pro-Mar 200 (Flat) to all walls. Apply 2 coats of Industrial enamel (Gloss) to all door frames. Color to be decided. Price includes all labor, materials, installation, and job completion. Painting includes all walls Suite 500 as instructed by Owner and drawings. Does not include painting lite kit trim on doors. Questions Due: 09/14/23 @ 8:00 AM Should the RFP not contain sufficient information for the proposer to obtain a clear understanding of the services required by the District, or should it appear that the instructions outlined in the RFP are not clear or are contradictory, then the painting firm may obtain written clarification from the Director of Procurement, Elaine Wilson-Beverly (elaine.wilson@bcsdk12.net) at least 72 hours prior to the required time and date for proposal submission. The painting firm shall include a copy of the written clarification with its submission. The District reserves the right to reject all proposals. The District also reserves the right to waive any irregularity, informality, or technicality in the proposals in its best interest, and is not obligated to award a contract based upon the lowest priced submission. If terms cannot be mutually agreed upon, the District will enter into negotiations with a secondary Paint Company.
