200-01, 667-1 PROJECT ADDRESSES: Hillcrest Homes Davis & Griswold Streets Turners Falls, MA 01376 Sunshine Terrace Turners Falls, MA 01376 The Montague Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written bids from Contractors for the Unit Loadcenter Replacement at Hillcrest Homes and Fire Alarm Upgrades at Sunshine Terrace project for the Montague Housing Authority in Turners Falls, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Nangle Engineering Inc. The Project consists of: Replacement of up to thirty (30) dwelling unit electric loadcenters (fourteen (14) under base bid, sixteen (16) under alternate no. 1), smoke alarm upgrades at forty (40) dwelling units, and fire alarm upgrades at the community/office building. The work is estimated to cost $81,563.00 including all alternates. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 @44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 @@26 to 27H inclusive. The observation is an opportunity to visit and observe the site only. Any oral interpretations offered at the site inspection are non-binding. Any questions must be submitted in writing to the Designer, at the e-mail address above, and on the Project Manual cover, no later than 4:00 PM on the Friday prior to the date stated above for the receipt of bids.
