Demolition of two (2) Town-owned Buildings This project is subject to but not limited to the following: Demolition Site 1 The project shall include all labor, site preparations, staging, and all materials associated with demolishing the metal building and concrete Recreation buildings, located at 1 Overlook Avenue, Burlington, MA, down to the existing concrete slabs and properly disposing of all debris except impervious ground material, i.e. paving and/or the slabs including but not limited to all of the following: All services will be shut off and prepared by the Town for the safe demolition of the Buildings. The project consists of tearing down the existing buildings and will follow the removal of all interior objects to allow access for abatement of tile floors. Following asbestos abatement of the tile floors, this project includes the removal and proper disposal of both entire buildings including flooring, doors, millwork, walls, windows, trim, roof structure and roofing material and all debris, leaving impervious material i.e. paving and/or the existing slabs in place and leaving them in broom clean condition. These metal building and a concrete buildings contain approximately 8,000 square feet. All areas and details will be shown during the walk-through. Demolition Site 2 All labor, site preparations, staging, and materials associated with the demolition of the "Carpenter House" existing residential building and detached garage located at 1 Dearborn Road, Burlington, MA. All services will be shut off and prepared by the Town for the safe demolition of the Buildings. The project consists of tearing down the entire existing residential building (following asbestos abatement located in the kitchen and garage) and detached garage, including flooring, doors, millwork, walls, windows, trim, roof structure and roofing material and all debris leaving the garage slab, (this project does not include the shed in the rear of the property). The buildings contain approximately 1,700 square feet. This includes the removal and proper disposal of all debris, leaving impervious ground material i.e. paving and the existing slab under the garage and leaving then in broom clean condition. This project also includes the removal and proper disposal of the existing house foundation material and backfilling the hole, level to the ground, with dirt fill provided by the town.
