Site work for a water / sewer project in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of cleaning and lining of existing water mains within the existing roadway and all other appurtenances required to complete the work. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. All Bidders shall furnish with their Bid a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, cash or a certified check, treasurers check or cashiers check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid and made payable to the Department of Public Works, Town of North Attleborough, Massachusetts. Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds will be required of the Successful Bidder. The time period for holding bids is 60 days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded. Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, inclusive. It is the responsibility of the contractor, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds or Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds must file with each Bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids.
