The work on this project will include but is not limited to the site construction, storm water, construction of a pavilion, and construction of the monument wall of the Archbald Borough Veterans Monument Park. Bidders proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurers check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. The surety shall name as payee or oblige the Archbald Borough. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor will be required to be signed and notarized prior to the award of any contract. A no-lien agreement will be required to be signed and filled by the contractor before and work begins on the project. Notice is herby given that the project for which construction proposals are being solicited herby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, Prevailing Wage Act 442 of August 158, 1961, as amended on August 9, 1963. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid guaranty, payable to the Owner. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omission informalities relative thereto. Bid opening will be public; Contractors will be allowed to have one representative attend the bid opening.
