Site work and paving for a parking garage in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Working plans call for site work for a parking garage; and for paving for a parking garage.

Summary Work This work consists of all labor, materials, tools and equipment required for setting-up general plant, storage/staging areas and facilities required by State Laws and City Ordinances; and the general mobilization of equipment required for the completion of the work shown on the Contract Documents. Reviewing existing electrical plans, if available, electrical layout, and existing conditions for each phase of the work to identify the likelihood of embedded conduits/wiring in the floor slabs. All existing mechanical and electrical services shall be maintained/restored by the Contractor for all work areas. A bid deposit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, payable to the Village, is required, unless otherwise stated in the bid package. The deposit must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a bank cashiers check. The bid performance deposit check of the successful bidder will be retained until surety bonding requirements have been satisfied and proof of insurance coverage is provided. The contractor shall reach substantial completion within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed with final completion fifteen (15) days thereafter. No Pre-Bid Conference Available The Village reserves the right in its sole discretion, to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities technicalities and informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interests of the Village.
