Site work and paving for a civil project in Summerset, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
for the furnishing of materials, labor, equipment and skill required for the purpose of construction of the specified street maintenance and incidental items in and for said Summerset, South Dakota, as is more fully described and set forth in the plans and specifications therefore, which are now on file in the office of the City Finance Officer, City Hall, Summerset, South Dakota. Bids will be received on the following approximate quantities and types of work: Water service line relocation (67 LF); 18 RCP Storm Sewer (119 LF); Manhole Adjustments (9 EA); Cold Mill Asphalt (1,679 SY), Asphalt Concrete (315 Ton); Concrete Fillets (125 SY) The work on the improvements shall be complete by September 27, 2024. Should the Contractor fail to complete the work within the time required herein or within such extra time as may have been granted by formal extensions of time approved by the Owner, there will be deducted from any amount due the Contractor the sum of $325 per day for each calendar day and every calendar day that the completion of the work is delayed. The Contractor and his surety will be liable for any excess. Such payment will be as and for liquidated damages and not as a penalty. All bidders are invited to be present at the public opening of the bids.
