Reference Number 00003704644 The FNHA intends to award a contract for building operations and maintenance services for MVOP. The FNHA considers the building operations, including maintenance, grounds and custodial services, as essential services supporting its health care program and service delivery responsibilities and activities. These services contribute to the well-being and support of our staff and community members. A successful building operations and maintenance contractor is expected to offer quality and courteous maintenance, grounds and cleaning services provided by well-trained and experienced personnel, enhancing positive public relations while utilizing economically and environmentally sound operating practices. All programs should support an awareness of the priorities of recycling and waste reduction, as well as energy and natural resource conservation. The FNHA intends to award the contract to a proponent that is most responsive to its needs and offers the best operational program with a realistic, economical fiscal investment with a commitment to regular performance evaluation. Proponents are encouraged to demonstrate how their expertise and resources will contribute to the long-range planning and upkeep of the facility and grounds and include specific benchmarks and data regarding funding information (i.e. dollars per square meter per year) and other best practices and benchmarks in the facilities management field.
