The District Board of Trustees of State College of Florida, Manatee - Sarasota announces Professional Design Services will be required by qualified Architects & Engineers registered in the State of Florida to provide planning and design services, complete contract documents (plans and specifications), bid and proposal services, and construction administration for the following project: This project will implement the first phase of development at the College's 75-acre site in Parrish. This project shall consist of an approximate 40,000 GSF building and all site infrastructure. The multipurpose building shall support the college's academic program, student services and administration. The program may consist of a reception area, small offices, nursing skills labs, nursing auditorium, disability resource center, testing center, orientation room, science labs, computer labs, general classrooms, distant learning lab, library, study rooms, tutoring room, vending area and maintenance shop. The site development will consist of on and off-site utilities, stormwater management, roads and parking lots, landscape and irrigation, parking lot lighting, entry sign, permitting, testing, meters, and general site development. The estimated project budget is $40,000,000. The college received $9,000,000 and plans to complete design and start construction on site infrastructure in the calendar year 2024.
