The selected Respondent shall furnish and install a new ground mounted solar PV array near the existing array. The new array shall match the existing array and be provided with robust support beams and shall be mounted 8 feet off the ground. Provide pricing for the options listed below: o Base Option #1: 175 kW AC in power output o Alternate #A: Add an additional 105kW AC in power output o Alternate #B: 175 kW Heliene, Minnesota made solar modules o Need to know price difference between Base Option and Heliene panels o Alternate #C: Add additional 105 kW Heliene, Minnesota made solar modules o Need to know price difference between Alternate #A and Heliene panels The new array shall be located at the University of Minnesota, 600 East 4th Street, Morris, MN 56267 in the pasture south of Prairie Lane shown in the Figure E1. There is an existing 500kVA padmount transformer serving the existing array that is appropriately sized to support the new array. The existing padmount transformer, and both low and high voltage power lines are owned by the University of Minnesota Morris. No agreements are needed with the power company; the University will submit the interconnection application and the power purchase agreement is already in place. Respondent will need to work with the utility, Otter Tail Power Company, to acquire a production meter. Proposals shall include all ground work, structure and racking to mount the modules, all trenching and wiring to connect to the padmount transformer, connecting the new array to our monitoring system to be able to collect array output data via the internet and Modbus protocol (existing communications include point-to-point internet connection from the campus with an internet gateway that has additional capacity for connection to the new array), and securing permits from the University of Minnesota codes department including any engineering work needed to support the permits (i.e. civil, structural and electrical drawings). Proposals should also include upgrading the current overhead line fuses on the GOAB switch (currently rated at 140 A, but need 200 A for this addition) Construction Services for addition of a new solar array on the Morris campus. The total construction budget for this Project is $700,000 (current dollars, no escalation).
