The City of Whitehorse (“City”) is inviting Bids from qualified vendors, referred to as “Bidder” with the experience to build an access ramp from Casca Boulevard to the Whistle Bend pond, including the supply of materials, equipment, products, labour, and transportation as necessary to complete the project. This project is part of the Whistle Bend pond improvements initiative, whereby construction of an access ramp for maintenance vehicles is required on the indicated site, as per applicable City of Whitehorse Servicing Standard Manual, which are available at below link: https://www.whitehorse.ca/business-in-whitehorse/zoning/engineering-standards/ In line with the project intent, Engineer’s design and the City of Whitehorse Servicing Standard Manual, the Project will include, but not limited to: Securing the construction site and display required and appropriate safety signage Keeping public areas accessible to public and safe for use Removal of existing curb to install commercial crossing along Casca Boulevard Removal of existing asphalt path and replacing with thicker asphalt path Securing all services running on surface or buried in the construction area and restoring these services to initial working condition Securing all other surrounding property and restoring any damaged property to initial condition Construction of the access ramp from Casca Boulevard to the pond Cleaning and carting away excess material and debris from construction site Coordinate with any other trade/ contractor that the City may appoint on same site for other works Documents can be obtained from https://whitehorse.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/70531 Questions Due Date: Sep 12th 2023, 3:00 PM MST
