Bid Security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid Form in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or Bid Bond. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Contracting Agency, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. Attorneys-in-Fact who sign Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, and/or Labor and Material Payment Bonds must file with each Bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. The City will issue the NTP when the Contractor advises the City that the signal poles, mast arms, and other long-lead time items have been received and are available for installation and erection on the project, but no later than 6-months from the date of the construction contract.
