The Tonto National Forest has a requirement that requires osteological expertise and knowledge for field inspection of newly discovered finds where the presence of human remains has been reported, that includes, but may not be limited to identification, documentation and recovery of human remains through field analysis in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
