Site work and paving for a civil project in Sioux City, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
RFQ FOR MACOMB AVENUE WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT Proposals are being requested to perform survey, engineering design and limited construction services for the Macomb Avenue Watermain Replacement Project. This project includes the replacement of a 16" watermain along Macomb Avenue from South Rustin Street to Morningside Avenue that has exceeded its useful life. A project area map showing the watermain system has been provided on the following page for reference. The existing watermain has an estimated install date of 1925. Careful consideration will need to be given to adjacent connections, valves, fire hydrants, and water services due to limited as-built knowledge. Construction staging to accommodate the neighborhood and nearby schools and businesses shall be considered during design. Value engineering during the planning phase to limit paving and adjacent utility impacts will be a priority.
