The project consists of a new 3,033 sf addition and a complete renovation of the 33,330-sf existing building. The new addition consists of a new secure entrance and administrative offices. Renovation will include classrooms, restrooms, staff work room, library, corridors, a full roof replacement, window and door replacement, new fire sprinklers, and upgraded mechanical and electrical systems. Specific work to include: demolition, concrete foundations and floors (new and replacement), interior CMU / masonry, structural and misc. steel, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, casework, insulation (batt, thermal, foam and spray), EIFS, air barriers, metal wall and soffit panels, composite framing support systems, EPDM roofing, flashings, intumescent fire protection, firestopping, joint sealants, expansion joint covers, hollow metal doors / frames / hardware, flush wood doors, operable partitions, access panels, coiling doors, aluminum storefront and glazing, gypsum drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, tile (floor and wall), flooring, interior and exterior painting, display boards, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, fire extinguishers, plastic laminate lockers, plastic lockers, roller window shades, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, site prep, site concrete, and landscaping.
