This project allocates funding for various improvements and/or renovations to the City's existing recreation and aquatic facilities. This project allows for upgrades and renovations for twelve facilities which include the Tumbleweed Recreation Center (TRC), Snedigar Recreation Center, Tennis Center, Environmental Education Center, Community Center, Senior Center, and six aquatic facilities. FY 2022-23 projects include improvements to the TRC, Environmental Education Center, Arrowhead Meadows Aquatic Facility, Desert Oasis Aquatic Facility, Folley Pool, Hamilton Aquatic Facility, Nozomi Aquatic Center, and the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Facility. ARPA funding will be used for improvements and repairs at the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Facility. As of February 6, 2026, this project is in the 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program. This project is annually funded is and is expected to be completed in house or through an annual service contact. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
