As of November 7th, 2023 - no award is expected until after the December 7th Board Meeting. The project consists of the construction of a new Cafeteria Building A at Marthaville Elementary/Jr High School in Marthaville, LA. The project is anticipated to be bid as a lump sum Base Bid only. PROJECT COMPONENTS: 1. Construct a new Cafeteria Building A on the established school campus. Generally, the building construction is concrete slab-on-grade on concrete grade beam with spread footing foundation, custom steel frame with sloping metal roof, exterior brick veneer and metal wall panel cladding, painted CMU partitions, lay-in acoustical ceilings, resilient, quarry and ceramic floors, DX split-system AC/heating, propane service and electrical power, lighting and signal. This building will include a kitchen, cooler/freezer and support spaces all fully furnished with kitchen equipment as specified herein. 2. Associated site work, new concrete drive and loading dock, drainage, grassing, erosion control, and other site amenities as scheduled. 3. After occupancy of the new Building A, demolish the existing cafeteria building and noted site amenities, and grade and grass the site.
