Refuse and Recycling Pick Up, Removal, and Disposal for Residential Units All bidders are required to submit a financial statement, a statement of experience, which will include, but not be limited to, experience with residential refuse and recycling pick-up and disposal for municipalities, a proposed plan or plans for performing the contract to be awarded, and the equipment the bidder has available for the performance of this public contract. The statement shall be submitted on forms prescribed by the State Board of Accounts. All bidders shall submit an affidavit with their bid showing that the bidder has not entered into a combination or agreement (Non-collusion Affidavit): (i) relative to the price to be bid by a person; (ii) to prevent a person from bidding; or (iii) to induce a person to refrain from bidding; and that the bidder's bid is made without reference to any other bid. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier or certified check payable to the Town of Chesterton in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the entire bid amount. The Town of Chesterton reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive defects in bids, or re-advertise for bids. Refuse and recycling pick-up shall be provided on a schedule from Monday through Friday.
