The City of Prattville is seeking bids for the processing and analysis of commingled recycling commodities collected from an approximated 13,500 curbside roll carts in Prattville. The intended recycling stream to be processed will consist of cardboard, paper (office and mixed grades), plastics (#1, #2, and #5), and aluminum (mostly used beverage containers also known as UBC's). The City of Prattville collects approximately 950 tons of commingled recycle per month. The indicated tonnage is an approximation of aggregate tonnages documented for the past two years by the City and is not guaranteed to the successful bidder. Initial three-year period, with the ability to renew the agreement if there are no material changes to the agreement. The City reserves the right to add or remove any items to or from the recycle stream as necessitated by market demands. The City reserves the right to terminate this agreement at will with 30 days written notice. The distance to the Vendor's facility from the City of Prattville Public Works facility located at 530 Doster Road Prattville, AL 36067 will be no more than 25 miles. If available, bidders are requested to include an electronic copy in Adobe PDF format. Enclose a signed and completed W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number & Certification with bid response. Bidders are cautioned that failure to submit proposal in the format specified shall be grounds to reject the proposal and remove bid from consideration.
