https://www.dec.ny.gov/enb/20231011_not9.html Cattaraugus County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Valentine Flats Access Project in the Zoar Valley Unique Area will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves improvements to the parking lot; new kiosk and signage; construction of an accessible trail (approximately 2,500 linear foot); improved drainage; new culvert; creating viewing areas; installation of benches and split rail fence; and repairs and upgrades to emergency access road. The project is located on Valentine Flats Road in the Town of Persia, New York.
