Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) requires the services of a Professional Engineering Consultant in connection with Contract No. 002056, Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study for the proposed SR 417 Capacity Improvements from SR 528 to SR 408 located within Orange County Florida. Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) requires the services of a Professional Engineering Consultant to conduct a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study for the proposed SR 417 Capacity Improvements from SR 528 to SR 408. The project is located within Orange County and comprises approximately seven (7) miles of capacity improvements, consisting of widening the existing facility and the addition of Part-Time Shoulder Use (PTSU) lanes. The services shall be provided and performed in accordance with and as required by the most recent version of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) PD&E Manual, including but not limited to: investigation and analysis of all transportation, social, economic, and human and natural environment effects; preparation of the required environmental documents; preparation of the required engineering reports and preliminary plans; and providing necessary public involvement support and assistance. The required services and documentation will be those necessary to prepare a Project Environmental Impact Report (PEIR). Disadvantaged/Minority/Women/Business Enterprises will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for qualification or an award by CFX. CFX has established a 15% participation objective for D/M/WBE firms for each project. The method has not been determined.
