For complete bid results, Please review the Bid Tabulation document in the Documents section Lakeview School District will receive sealed proposals, for multiple furniture and equipment categories, from qualified dealerships to perform all work necessary and incidental for the Middle School Furnishings project, located Lakeview Middle School, 300 South 28th Street, Battle Creek, Michigan, in accordance with published instructions, specifications, drawings and other contract documents. All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or money order made payable to Lakeview School District. Personal and company checks will not be accepted. For bids in excess of $50,000.00 a Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the value of the Project will be required. This is to be shown as a dollar amount; any other description given on the Proposal Form other then a dollar amount will not be acceptable. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid. All bidders must complete Affidavit of Bidder form and Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Economic Sanctions Act (see last two (2) pages of the Bid Proposal Form - Section 00 41 00). Forms must be filled out correctly and notarized. Failure to complete these forms will result in disqualification of bid. Proposals shall remain firm for sixty (60) days from date of Bid Opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, is not bound to accept the low bid and may waive all irregularities in Proposals. In addition, the Board reserves the right to evaluate bids on any basis determined by the Board to be in the best interest of the board and to consider alternate bids if the low bidder(s) do not meet the specifications or are otherwise determined to be unqualified.
