The following outlines the minimum planning components to be included in the proposal. City staff will finalize the scope of work with the selected consultant prior to contract authorization. The City welcomes additional suggestions outside of the items listed below that the consultant believes would help achieve the comprehensive plan's objectives. The letter should discuss the consultant's interest in the project, understanding of the Scope of Work, and familiarity with the City of Centerville and Dayton Metropolitan Area. The letter shall include the name, telephone number, and e-mail address of the project manager. This individual should be the primary point of contact who can answer questions regarding the proposal. Review the Scope of Work provided in Section III and elaborate on how the consultant proposes to accomplish the eight (8) planning components. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in part or whole, and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received. Unless otherwise specified in the document, the City reserves the right to accept any item in the proposal on an individual basis. The City of Centerville shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the applicant associated with the preparation of the RFP.
