Demolition, site work and addition to a library in North Babylon, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a 19,005-square-foot library; for the demolition of a library; and for site work for a library.

A. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. Each contractor shall coordinate, through the Owner/Architect/Engineer, the work of their contract with the work by others. B. This following abbreviated summary is provided in order to briefly describe the work covered by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. It is not all inclusive of the work under the Contract. C. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Construct an addition to the existing North Babylon Public Library with new utility connections, selective demolition, asbestos abatement, new Lift interface to upper and lower levels, construct community and office spaces as indicated on the drawings 2. Asbestos abatement must be done after hours - overnight, as required to complete the contract requirements in accordance with the requirements contained in Section 028200. 3. Project closeout submittals. Work under this Section specifies the procedures used to process partial payments and the Final Payment Request. A new addition to an existing library. Certified check or Bid Bond in the amount totaling 5% of the base bid.
