Architectural/Engineering Services (RFP/RFQ) Description: In response to the changes to our-SCSU campus population demographics and budget challenges, our facility footprint must change as well, and quickly. Our updated Comprehensive Facilities Plan (CFP) will serve as an action guide to realign our physical spaces with new and evolving needs of our institution. The primary focus of our CFP an will be on the next five years, with some visioning extending to years 6-10. The CFP will likely reduce the campus footprint by 15-20%, opening up new opportunities for site redevelopment. Additionally, the CFP will likely involve realignment of internal space responding to shifting academic portfolio and changes in course delivery. SCSU will perform a portion of the work in-house (data collection, writing, internal meetings) but seek insight and guidance on current trends and best practices for Higher Education campus and space planning and graphic and budgetary assistance, and insight with B3/SB 2030 sustainability impacts for future projects. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
