Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Milford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for the construction of a sidewalk / parking lot.
Proposed Bridge Reconstruction Central Street over Charles River Bridge No. M-21-002 Replacing bridge superstructure on new abutments and full depth reconstruction of approach roadway. Constructing cement concrete sidewalks installing new granite curb, replacing water pipe, and minor drainage work. The work is estimated to cost $2,702,600.00. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the TOWN OF MILFORD. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. Bids submitted by bidders not prequalified by MassDOT will be rejected. Bids received after the time specified in the Invitation for Bids shall not be accepted. No paper copies of Bids shall be accepted Question Deadline 10/16/2024 Labor participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women for each job category. The amount of participation for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) shall be 13%.
