Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Cumberland, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project involves upgrades to the existing Cumberland wastewater treatment facility located at 2934 Ulverston Ave. in Cumberland, BC. This work package is for the Formwork and Concrete Placement. Work is to be undertaken in accordance with the schedule included in the Quotation Package Information. The prime contractor for this work will be Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. (MRCL), of Suite 113 - 9440 202 St., Langley, BC, V1M 4A6. We invite bidders to bid on Package A and/or Package B based on expertise and availability. Package A consists of the miscellaneous slab on grades, package B is for the Primary and EWWF Basins. Please refer to Appendix A of this RFQ for more details. The following is a detailed scope of work: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization to site including, but not limited to, all equipment, labor, hoisting equipment, materials, fuels to perform all work within this scope. 2. All local layout and survey required to carry out the work. General Contractor (GC) to provide benchmarks for reference. 3. Offloading and hoisting of formwork and related materials. 4. Form (including any blockouts), place and strip all slabs shown on the structural drawings included all chamfers as noted in note 22 in drawing ST-102. 5. Form (including any blockouts), place and strip of primary disinfection contact basin and EWWF disinfection contact basin shown on the structural drawings included all chamfers as noted in note 22 in drawing ST-102. 6. Roughening of concrete surfaces between joints of concrete pours to be included in the scope of work. 7. Concrete curing is part of the bidders scope of work. 8. The material provision of heating and hoarding will be provided by the GC but labour support from the successful bidder is to be included (Include for a crew of 3 for heating and hoarding). 9. All waterstop and joint sealant material and install to be included in the scope of work. 10. All void form shall be included in the scope of work. 11. Any sawcut joints to be included in the scope of work. 12. Formwork allowance for conduit penetrations to be included in the scope of work. 13. Concrete pumping to be included in the scope of work. 14. Removal and disposal of all waste generated by the subcontractor into bins provided by GC, 15. Coordination with electrical subcontractor, civil subcontractor, structural steel subcontractor, and GC as work will be performed in different stages and timing. 16. Concrete testing including air and slump testing will be performed by the GC. 17. Concrete supply to be provided by the GC. RFQ documents will only be issued to invited Bidders. All RFQ documents will be posted on MRCLs FTP site. MRCL will provide each Bidder with a username and password to access the FTP site.
