Renovation of a municipal facility in Derby, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Derby Public Works - Utilities Division is requesting bids to install fiber optic cable and associated materials and equipment to extend the data network between Water and Wastewater facilities and sites, identified on attached maps. The selected contractor will be expected to install the fiber optic cable and provide terminations and equipment as specified at each site. We anticipate the majority of this project to require trenching and directional boring utilizing existing rights-of-way and easements. It will be contractors' responsibility to acquire any additional working/storage space outside of existing easements and rights-of-way. The City will provide a staging area in the northwest corner of High Park. Bids must be good for a period of ninety (90) days. The City of Derby with or without cause may reject any or all bids. Each bidder shall specify the delivery date, not to exceed ninety (90) days after receipt of the purchase order. Delivery shall be made to the Public Works, Park Division after all pre-delivery services have been performed.
