Reference Number cb-8759-10525213 Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) requires the services of an Electrical Contractor to replace two (2) electrical distribution panels and three (3) motor control centres, including all components. The objective of the project is to replace all distribution panel and motor control centre components with new, modern, quality components that are reliable. The Contractor is asked to submit a proposal for the replacement of two (2) electrical distribution panels and three (3) motor control centres, including, but not limited to, the following work: analysis of the work, field surveys, validation of voltages and amperages of all components, full completion of the replacement work and commissioning. The goods and services rendered are described in greater detail in point 5. Since this is a performance specification, the Contractor will be responsible for supplying and installing components of the same or higher capacity. They will be responsible for doing the necessary calculations and validations to comply with the various codes and standards in force. The Contractor will engage the services of subcontractors or consultants as they deem necessary to carry out the project. The Bidder shall submit bid security with the bid in the form of a bid bond or a security deposit in an amount that is equal to not less than 10 percent of the bid amount. Applicable Taxes shall not be included when calculating the amount of any bid security that may be required. The maximum amount of bid security required with any bid is $2,000,000.00.
