AD ID# 2101093 Stony Brook University Hospital intends to make an award for the above noted commodity, product and/or service. A sealed RFQ (Request for Qualifications) will be held. The main features of the work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents shall include, but not be limited to the following: Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking a firm for the design of the HVAC System for the Molecular Labs Level 2. The firms will need to provide Architectural, MEP, Civil and Structural Engineering Services via Request for Qualifications solicitation. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: The BOD recommendations for a supplemental variable refrigerate flow (VRF), fan coil unit (FCU) HVAC System is in the process of implemented. An Engineer (Consultant) shall provide all professional services as may be necessary for the design of the HVAC system associated with AC 48. These services shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Review the BOD and recommendations. Survey and collect field information. Review Codes and Standards. Evaluate the existing HVAC system and determine HVAC loads Attend meetings with the PMO and Departments. Provide design documents with cost estimate and schedule. Provide bid phase services. Provide construction administration (CA) services. RFI's (Request for Information - Technical Questions) All interested firms' questions must be submitted in writing, citing the particular RFQ page, section and paragraph number where applicable to Jennifer.Mendez@Stonybrook.edu by September 12, 2023 by 4:00 PM. Questions received after the closing date for inquiries will not be answered. All questions must be relevant to the firm's response to this RFQ. RFI Responses - Copies of all relevant questions, with official responses, will be provided in writing to all interested firms who have requested this RFQ by September 15, 2023 or as soon thereafter as possible.
