This proposed project involves the bridge washing of approximately 257 bridges. The bridges are washed every other year in order for the bridges to last for their intended life cycle. This project also proposes to use 3D Laser Scanning (LIDAR) to check the vertical clearance of approximately 54 bridges. Nassau and Suffolk counties. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2023. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2023.
