Purpose: Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, Arkansas | Renovate Med/Surg Inpatient Unit 1A | Project# 564-19-110 In an effort to enhance opportunities for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) as required by Public Law 109-461, specifically the Veterans First Contracting Program, NCO16 is performing preliminary market research to identify interested, qualified, capable, SDVOSB and VOSB firms possessing the capacity necessary to compete for a VHA procurement opportunity. In case no SDVOSBs or VOSBs possess the capacity, all Small Businesses possessing the necessary capacity are encouraged to provide a response. Results of the preliminary market research will be used to determine the potential future solicitation's set-aside requirement. Project Summary: This project renovates approximately 8,975 sq ft to include patient rooms and nursing areas. This work requires extensive coordination with operations in the spaces above and below to modify plumbing and HVAC systems. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ducts are replaced, and the system rebalanced. Electric service to the ward is separated into branches per NEC and electrical panels replace. Completed renovation includes but not limited to the following. Single patient rooms (bariatric and non-bariatric), Med room, added storage, main nurse's station, new lights, ceiling, floors, doors and hardware, paint, hand rails, cove base, bedside computers, TVs, nurse call system, MEP, phasing plans, commissioning, architectural plans with furniture, fixture and equipment plans and layouts, etc. VAAR 836.204| Disclosure of the of construction projects.
