Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the City road infrastructure. The scope of the project includes repairs/replacement of watermains and sewers, road improvement and paving work for redevelopment of de la Gare Avenue between Sainte-Marie Road and de l'Esplanade Avenue, extension Sicard Street so it joins La Gare Street and development of a public square at the corner of Sicard Street and de la Gare Avenue. TIMELINE: Working drawings are underway. Owner expects to issue a tender for the general contractor in late summer/fall 2025 and begin construction late in 2025 or early 2026.
