Services to be provided under this Request for Proposals (RFP) are outlined under Section V, Scope of Work. The Contract period will be for a maximum of 5 years beginning on November 1, 2023, and ending on October 31, 2028. Location of Services Location(s) where Services are to be provided, completed, and managed are listed on the pricing sheet. The Proposer must include in Proposal, Attachment E - Cost, all transportation, lodging, and per diem costs sufficient to pay its personnel and travel to the aforementioned locations. The successful vendor shall be responsible for performing quarterly, annual, and quadrennial crane inspections and filing Certificates of Testing with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. Inspections are limited to but are not exclusive to the following terms: a) All functional operating mechanisms for improper functions, maladjustment, and excessive component wear, with particular attention to sheaves, pins, and drums. This shall include operation with a partial load, in which all functions and movements including where applicable, maximum possible rotation in both directions, are performed.
