Renovation of a residential development in Purcellville, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of November 10, 2023, no award was made. No definite date for the rebid. Contractor shall provide a fixed price bid including, but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, tools, incidentals, and supervision required to provide all services listed in the Scope of Work as defined herein. The Contractor shall obtain, possess, maintain, and comply with all applicable local, state, federal requirements such as licensing, permits, codes, laws, regulations, OSHA standards, specifications, and guidelines for providing these services. A. Contractor shall remove existing cabinets, sink and countertops and properly dispose of all debris. Contractor shall haul off all construction debris at their own expense. No material shall be disposed of on-site. B. Contractor shall furnish and install new and unused kitchen cabinets meeting minimum specifications listed herein. [Awarded contractor to provide samples for end-user to select color.] 1. Plywood boxes 2.Solid wood frames and doors 3. Soft-close hinges 4.Dove-tail constructed maple drawers C. Contractor shall furnish and install new and unused granite countertop. [Awarded contractor to provide samples to end-user to select color.] D. Contractor shall furnish and install new under-mount stainless steel sink with faucet/sprayer and hose. E. Contractor shall remove appliances prior to demolition and replace once cabinets are installed. Current appliances shall be reused. F. Existing electrical connections/disconnects may be reused if they meet manufacturer recommendations. If not, electrical components shall be upgraded by a qualified electrician. G. Contractor is responsible for any plumbing required for the project. H. Contractor shall repair and touch up any painted surfaces damaged by the installation with paint provided by the park. Question Deadline 09/20/2023 at 5:00 PM ET All questions resulting from a site visit must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer no later than allow time for a response and addendum, if needed 1)Work Hours: All services shall be performed, unless mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Park Representative, during normal business hours, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for State & Federal Holidays. 2) Requests to work on Saturday and Sundays shall be approved by park contact prior to start date. Due to the park's operating schedule, the work may need to be completed in multiple phases. 3) Work must be scheduled within 7 days of purchase order award through eVA . DCR requests completion of this project by October 15, 2023. 4) Contractor shall confirm with park representative that work is completed as specified prior to leaving the site on day of completion. 5) Contractor shall be responsible for all clean up and care must be taken to avoid damage to state property.
