Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes improving the condition of roadway infrastructure (e.g. resurfacing, reconstruction, drainage) and a new traffic signal at JFK Drive South and JFK Drive U-turn ramp. Work to be completed in 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All milling and paving operations shall be done at night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 as a guarantee of good faith and must be delivered at the above place at the time designated. Interested Bidders may request electronic copies of the Contract Documents and Plans through the Township Engineering Department at engineering @bloomfieldtwpnj.com or 973-680-4009. Any inquiries with regard to bid documents shall be addressed the Township Engineer by email engineering@bloomfieldtwpnj.com or fax 973-748-3520.
