General Project Description In general, the work shall incorporate all necessary labor, material, equipment and supplies to mill and resurface approximately 109,303 square yards (SY) of existing streets, replace 813 linear feet (LF) of existing valley gutter, remove and replace approximately 165 SY of existing concrete sidewalk, remove and replace approximately 4,900 SY of existing asphalt pathway, along with other incidental work and site work as required to complete the work per the project plans and specifications. Bid Documents Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and be clearly marked, attention to: Asphalt Pavement Milling and Resurfacing Project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by formal written Addenda and mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect All bid prices shall be guaranteed firm for a minimum of ninety (90) calendar days after the submission of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening date. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond acceptable to the Stoneybrook Community Development District or Cashiers Check made payable to the Stoneybrook Community Development District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, will be required. Guaranty Bonds in the form of Public Construction Bonds, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract will be required. The Stoneybrook Community Development District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid and to make awards in the best interests of the Stoneybrook Community Development District.
