SSC Service Solutions on behalf of Texas A&M University is seeking qualifications from Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms interested in preparing construction documents to design the removal and replacement of both building pumps and all chilled and heating water piping. Removal and replacement of all fan coil units in each dorm room and common areas. Installation of DDC control system. (See attached POR for additional information and key project milestone dates). Design will be in accordance with TAMU requirements, NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), The International Building Codes, Texas Energy Conservation Design Standard, TAMU Facility Design Guidelines, TAMU Campus Master Plan, and the Texas Accessibility Standards. The A/E will submit designs to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for accessibility review as a part of this project. The estimated project budget is $9,218,500. Budget costs include construction cost, design fees, and all administrative expenses. The construction documents must be prepared and sealed by an architect and a professional engineer registered in the State of Texas.
