CR Number: 2101379 The Department of Public Works desires to procure a firm to design construction plans for roadway and traffic safety improvements along Grand Avenue from Stanton Avenue to the Southern State Parkway, including the overpass, in Baldwin. These improvements will include streetscape beautification, entryway creation, installation and repair of sidewalks, curbs, ADA curb ramps, bulb-outs, drainage structures, tree impacts, roadway resurfacing, replacement of pavement markings, improve pedestrian safety, upgrade traffic signal infrastructures, and other incidental work. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted by e-mail and, if deemed necessary will be clarified by addendum issued to all respondents. No questions will be answered verbally. E-mails shall be sent to the attention of Antoinette Bocca, Project Manager at abocca@nassaucountyny.gov . Proposers should submit their question(s) prior to close of business on Wednesday, September 22, 2023. Violation of these provisions may result in immediate disqualification. Contract term: Two (2) years with option to renew for one (1) additional year period, for a possible total term of three (3) years
