Site work and paving for a road / highway in Summerville, South Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Widening of SC-165 Delemar Highway from 2 to 5 lanes from Ashley Ridge High School to Clubhouse Road. This project is a continuation of the Delemar Hwy Widening from SC-61 to Ashley Ridge High School. This project will increase capacity along this corridor and will accommodate future growth in the East Edisto district. Project is included Dorchester County Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of October 17, 2025, the traffic study, environmental screening, concept plan and cost estimate have been developed. The Design scope and fee are being negotiated with the engineering consultant. The engineering contract has been awarded for services through the Preliminary Plan phase. Survey is underway. Construction expected in FY2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
