Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 1 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/09/19 04:00:00 PM NDT .1Provide all labour, material, plant, equipment, superintendence, temporary facilities, permits and administration to perform the work outlined below and described in greater detail in the specification and drawings attached herto and forming part of the documents for this project. .2Contractor to provide NL Housing with a copy of all permits required and Certificates of Inspections prior to release of payments of the contract. .3All work in this project is to be completed in accordance with all related NL Housing specifications attached and Occupational Health and Safety requirements. 4.Contractor responsible to verify all measurements on site and provide NL Housing with shop drawings prior to start of work. All measurements and quantities in scope/drawings as estimated and for bidding purposes only. .5Contractor to ensure all work is completed in accordance with the current edition of the National Building Code, Electrical Code and Plumbing Code of Canada. Every tenderer shall submit with their bid an image of the required bid bond issued by an approved Surety Company licensed to do business in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and made out in favour of Newfoundland & Labrador Housing Corporation. The bid bond shall be at least ten per cent (10%) of the tendered amount. No Bidding Security will be required for a tendered amount of less than $25,000 unless specifically called for elsewhere in the tender document. An approved Certified Cheque may be substituted in lieu of the bid bond. The Bidding Security will be returned upon receipt of the Performance and Labour and Materials Bonds. A Performance Bond will be required in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Performance Security is to be received not later than two (2) weeks after the award of the Contract by the letter of intent and prior to the formal execution of the agreement. No Work is to be undertaken until the Performance Security has been received. Performance Security will not be required for a contract value of less than $25,000. A Labour and Materials Payment Bond will be required in the amount of fifty per cent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Labour and Materials Payment Bond is to be received not later than two (2) weeks after the award of the Contract by the letter of intent and prior to the execution of the formal agreement. No Work is to be undertaken until the Labour and Materials Security has been received. Labour and Materials Security will not be required for a contract valued at less than $25,000.00. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
