Construction of a Regional Health Pole by creating a innovation and cutting-edge care environment deployed around the Saint-Jérôme regional hospital. The sector is partly located in a TOD area where, around an intermodal station, there revolves a dense and mixed living environment characterized by developments promoting collective and active travel. Adjacent to the city center and accessible by key transport routes, the regional health center is strategically positioned. The scope of work includes redevelopment of the route 117 axis into an urban boulevard between route 158 and rue de Montigny, redevelopment of boulevard Jean-Baptiste-Rolland between the Rivière-du-Nort bridge and 20th avenue, extension and redevelopment of rue Durant to the southwest of rue de Montigny towards boulevard Jean-Baptiste, conversion of 5th Street into a green and active corridor, redevelopment of boulevard Jean-Paul-Hogue and implementation of calming measures traffic on public roads. TIMELINE: The awarded engineering professional consultant has completed an environmental study, a geotechnical study and an environmental characterization of the soil in the construction zone. The study report is under review at the owner. Project is expected to be implemented by construction packages that will be followed separately when they proceed to a design stage.
