GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required to inspect and repair deficiencies on KLEECO Model SP600H Mobile Boat Hoist located at USCG IPD Cape May, 1 Munro Ave, Bldg 282, Cape May NJ 08204 per the scope of work attached in this solicitation. SITE VISIT: All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to field verify any/all quantities before submitting bids. Interested parties shall make arrangements for a site visit with Don Austin or Troy VanCleave @ (609) 898-6984. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance the contractor shall commence work OOA 21Aug 2023 after notice to proceed and work diligently to complete the entire work requirement by 30 September 2023. SCOPE OF WORK: Provide all labor, materials and equipment, as required, to overcome noted deficiency #21 of the Inspection Report dated 11/30/2022. COLUMNS AND BEAMS: The starboard forward column is not plump. This is putting stress on the right side steering bearing and strongback connection pin. Determine repairs required and repair as necessary. #29 RIGHT STEERING BEARING AND LINKAGE: The right-side steering bearing has some plan in it. This could be caused by the starboard forward column not being plump. Determine repairs required and repair as necessary.
