Remodeling and renovation of a parking garage in Claremont, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a parking garage; and for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Parking Structure located at 470 W. First Street, Claremont, CA 91711. CONTRACTOR shall provide all materials and labor necessary to complete the following on two (2) hydraulic elevators Question Deadline 09/14/2023 at 5:00 PM PT Work shall begin within 10-days following the Notice to Proceed and be completed within in 90- days. There will be no pre-bid or walk-through for this project. Interested parties may visit the site on their own at any time. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of the City in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the City with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment (Labor and Materials) Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. If the Services are being performed as part of an applicable "public works" or "maintenance" project, as defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws, and if the total compensation is $1,000 or more, Contractor agrees to fully comply with such Prevailing Wage Laws. The City of Claremont reserves the right, after opening bids, to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid, to make awards in the interest of the City, and to reject all other bids. Prevailing Wage - Contractor is aware of the requirements of California Labor Code Section 1720, et seq., and 1770, et seq., as well as California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 16000, et seq., (“Prevailing Wage Laws”), which require the payment of prevailing wage rates and the performance of other requirements on “public works” and “maintenance” projects.
