Generally, the work under this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for applying a HA-5 Sealcoat to approximately 46,189 square yards of asphalt street surface, at Nine (9) locations in the City of Durango. The successful contractor shall be responsible for placing a HA-5 Seal coat on the City Streets listed in the bid schedule. The successful contractor shall supply public relations, accommodate resident needs, other materials, equipment, operators, and supply street sweeping for the work areas. The successful contractor shall supply all traffic control necessary to complete the job during operations as required in the Manual of Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Part-6 and shall file an appropriate traffic control plan with the City Engineer at least 14 days prior to start of work. Services to be provided by the Contractor will include but will not be limited to a mineral aggregate and asphalt binder surface treatment installed as a High-Density Mineral Bond over the roadway surface at nine (9) locations in the City of Durango.
