Completed plans call for the renovation of a 408-square-foot clubhouse / community center; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of May 13, 2024, This project has been awarded to Rhome Profile Construction Corp. the, with the awarded amount of $1,191,127.49.** Scope of Services The project includes building and site improvements to the Corona Senior Center. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, parking lot and lighting improvements, storefront and façade improvements, building access modifications, patio area improvements, interior modifications, sidewalk and landscaping and fire protection improvements. Other Details This project will be funded in whole or in part with federal housing and community block development funds and is a HUD Section 3 construction contract. The successful bidder and all subcontractors shall comply with all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations. Detailed federal funding requirements, including federal forms, are included in Appendix A Federal Requirements and Appendix B Davis Bacon Wage Determination of the Bid and Contract Documents. All prospective bidders shall access the Documents & Attachments Tab to review and download all bid documents posted on the website for the Project. The solicitation documents include, but are not limited to, bid and contract documents, specifications, drawings, appendices, and required bid forms. Bidders shall complete the required bid forms in their entirety and submit electronically through the system. Bidders will not be able to submit their bids without uploading each of the required documents through the system. Bidders shall use the Line Items Tab to submit their bid price. All addenda shall be acknowledged electronically through the system. Notes The City shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as determined on the basis of the summation of the Total Base Bid Schedule and the Total Alternate Bid Schedule combined. However, the City may choose to award the Contract on the basis of the base bid alone or the base bid and any selected alternate bid item or combination of selected alternate bid items. Please allow sufficient time to fully complete and upload each and every document prior to the bid submission deadline. Bid documents can be uploaded, modified or withdrawn any time prior to the bid submission deadline. Please review the E-bidding Instructions FAQs uploaded to the Documents & Attachments Tab. The system will not accept late bids. No exceptions. Failure to submit electronic bids shall result in a non-responsive bid and will not be considered for award.
