BACKGROUND Owner Background Elbert County School District C-2, also known as Kiowa Schools, is located in Kiowa, Colorado. We have Received a DOLA grant for an early childhood center. Complete with 8000 square foot modular classroom building, parking lot and playground. The building must be on grade *Indoor space has to be 30 square feet of playing space per child, not counting cabinets and sinks *A crib must be able to fit through the door *Playgrounds must be fenced *Playgrounds must have 2 surfaces Playgrounds must have a shade area of at least 150 square feet *Playgorunds must have 75 square feet of playing space per child (Toddler is a Minimum of 750 square feet her 10 kids) *Children and adults can not share bathrooms *Office space must be separate from classrooms. III. Scope of Work The General Contractor is responsible for oversight of the entire project from start to finish (minus the ordering of the building itself.) Including but not limited to general oversight of all site work, utilities, permits, foundation, perc and soil tests, delivery and placement of the building, crane for buildings, install of playground, energy saving materials, parking lot, grading and trenching ect....
