As of October 13, 2023, a meeting will be held on October 17, 2023 for the Hillsborough County School Board to vote on the proposal to expand Blake's riverfront football stadium from a capacity of 1,800 to around 5,000, among other enhancements. That would satisfy the capacity requirements of the upstart professional women's league as it seeks Division I certification from USA Soccer.
